Ginger Beet Iced Latte

 
 

Wanna shake one up together?


Makes 1 Latte | Takes 3 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • ½ teaspoon fresh grated ginger

  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup (adjust as you’d like for sweetness)

  • 1 teaspoon beet root powder

  • 1 double shot espresso

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare your coffee

In a cocktail shaker, add the milk, ginger, simple syrup and beet root powder. Add plenty of ice. Shake for 45 seconds, then double strain over fresh ice.

Pull a fresh double shot of espresso then gently pour it over the top of your beet milk.

Stir the espresso into the milk just before enjoying!

Pro tip: you can use beet juice for this too! Omit the beet juice and substitute 1/4 cup fo the milk for 1/4 cup beet juice
